Summary/Abstract: Vosylius Sezemanas 1950-1955 while imprisoned in the camp, he wrote and saved a number of manuscripts and brought them back to Lithuania. It is known that the professor gave lectures to other prisoners. Surviving manuscripts are possibly lecture notes. In his manuscripts, the philosopher discusses the topics he was concerned about earlier, examines the problems of aesthetics, self-knowledge and metaphysical assumptions of knowledge. Part of the manuscripts devoted to aesthetics, written in the camp, were published in the book Vosylius Sezemanas Estetika, kulturus filosofija, philosophijos iztorija (VDU, 2020), the manuscript Self-knowledge, self-awareness and objectification was published in the 100th issue of the Problem magazine (2021).
