Review of the publication „Supporting opportunities for persons with mental disabilities“

Summary/Abstract: The reviewed book sensitively underlines the fact that the centrepiece of, the essential condition for, the lives of persons with mental disabilities remains love, i.e. real everyday human relationships with people close to them, and that their greatest misfortune is the lack of interpersonal bonds. The authors emphasise that theseindividuals, just like the rest of us, are entitled to more than social justice - they are entitled to a feeling of belonging to the mainstream community.
