Summary/Abstract: Africa has played a significant role in Türkiye’s foreign policy in recent years. Relationships that have historical depth and are maintained in different fields today have brought with them both the increase in the number of African students studying in Türkiye and the mistakes in some steps taken and some criticisms. In this study, the steps taken by Türkiye in African countries were discussed and the work of both official and civil institutions in the continent was examined, perspectives on the continent in Türkiye were discussed and the reasons for the “problematic” African perception were discussed
