Summary/Abstract: The article presents the analysis of a play by a Russian director, Anastasya Patlay, Memoria, devoted to the victims of Stalinist crimes and the Memorial Society documenting their fate. The analysis was carried out in the context of the theory of culture by Vyacheslav Ivanov and Friedrich Nietzsche.
