Summary/Abstract: Children with developmental disabilities represent the most sensitive and vulnerable group of society. They cannot protect themselves and fight for themselves and a well-developed legal framework is needed to protect their rights. Also. a strong rehabilitation system that enables early intervention and quality care is also needed.289The paper will provide an overview of the legal regulations that regulate this matter in the territory of the Republic of Croatia, from the right to upbringing, education, treatment, as well as an overview of the current situation.
