Summary/Abstract: Since the seventeenth century in the Romanian countries, it is observed a greater interest for the universal history. If until then the Romanian chroniclers were especially interested in noting the internal events that took place in the Romanian countries, with the very rare mention of those that took place outside the space inhabited by the Romanians, from now on more attention will be paid to writing these chronographs that cover aspects of universal history. In this work we present the first work of this kind, written in Romanian language, in 1620, by Mihail Moxa, marking this year 400 years since its writing. We will demonstrate that the analyzed text is a historical one, realized by compiling some Byzantine, Slavic and Romanian writings, in which the author integrates events and events in the history of Romanians.
