Summary/Abstract: The study focuses on evaluating selected research problems related to economic growth and quality of life, objective but the subjective approach to perception and evaluation of the quality of life through selected indicators. Factors such as economic growth and its material and energy intensity, the structure of the economy and its structural changes, or the application of environmental legislation can be classified as economic factors that threaten the quality of the environment. Quality of life is often used in everyday life and scientific and political environments. The aim is to highlight approaches to the perception of evaluation. We will focus on comparing selected indicators that we can consider in part of the comparisons of V4 countries - opinions and controversies from different perspectives on the perception of different aspects of quality of life. We aim to highlight changes in V4 countries in the context of selected economic and environmental indicators.
