Summary/Abstract: As Turkish TV series are experiencing restrictions in a number of countries, this study examines cases that happened in Kazakhstan. The article provides a background of history of Turkey’s Soft Power in independent Kazakhstan. Us vs Them narratives and their effect on Turkish Soft Power in Kazakhstan are analysed by comparing three articles using Critical Discourse Analysis. The three chosen articles from various websites chosen for the analysis represent different perspectives on Turkish Soft Power in Kazakhstan.
