NEW MODEL PROPOSAL FOR REGIONAL AND LOCAL DEVELOPMENT

Summary/Abstract: In this study, based on the experience gained from regional and local development, a model proposal for a successful regional and local development has been presented in a way that can be put into practice by practitioners. Day by day, humans are improving the environment they live in, different societies put forward different efforts with the aim of continuous progress. Improvement and development have become a field of struggle between people groups and this has sometimes causes to the exploitation of other societies. When we evaluate the development efforts in terms of countries, it is seen that the efforts coming from the local level are very valuable and have the power to affect the general development levels of the countries. However, in regional and local development efforts, some regions come to the forefront than others.
