Summary/Abstract: Lidia Stăniloaie represents the contemporary feminine religious poetry. The paper contains a biographical draft and an analyse of the themes of the poems included in the volume Meeting with God. Among these symbolic themes, there can be mentioned: light, death, words, tears.The creator's self-attitude is characteristic to the orthodox believer, the ascetic attitude.
