Summary/Abstract: The field of terminology appeared in the nineteenth century, once with the industrial Revolution which represented an opening to inventions, congresses and universal exhibitions.Bringing together the various specialists led to the awareness of the necessity of the terminological approach in order to achieve the description, definition and designation of processes and products. If at the beginning, the Terminology studies took into consideration only the terms themselves, then the modern terminology proved to be closely related to the specialty lexic, linguistic, cognitive, communicative, social, temporal, but also its cultural activities.
