Summary/Abstract: The promotion of local values is a duty for each of those who, in one way or another, have this possibility. Enea Hodoș is one of the representatives of Banat culture who contributed, through the published works, to the knowledge and promotion of Banat folklore, to the development of education and the Romanian language in this part of the country. The presentation of the content of some of the sketches published in the volume of 1897 is an invitation to read, in order to discover the talent of writer Enea Hodoș.
