Summary/Abstract: This paper wants to be an analyses the influence of asymmetric information in generating the inequality existing in any country, regardless of the level of its development. Although economists have long considered that markets can adjust themselves and information is perfect, time has proven otherwise. Stiglitz and not only he has long studied how access to complete and correct information (an ideal) as well as respecting citizens' right to access to information would generate a more democratic political process and reduce the power of influence of monopolies.
