Maramureş County in the Ethnological Studies.

Summary/Abstract: Part of a future ethnological monograph of Romania, Maramures in the ethnological studies aims at establishing an integrative synthesis of the folklore and ethnology of this area, framework in which the very preoccupations to collect and value Maramures folklore and ethnology presents an essential interest. The paper is inserted with the first concerns regarding the collection of ethnological works, important Maramures corpuses of folklore, collections made under the aegis of the Romanian Academy, the most important studies dedicated to folklore, erhnology, and the folkloristic of Maramures.
