The Development Potential of the City of Wrocław in the Context of Global Trends

Summary/Abstract: The proper understanding and interpreting oncoming phenomena and processes seems to be a very important asset in building competitive advantage, not only in business but also in territorial units such as cities. Predicting future trends is especially important because most of the global population tend to live in cities. The aim of this paper was to present the concept of megatrends and to evaluate endogenic factors (social, economic and environmental) that can be crucial for forecasting (development process management).
