Summary/Abstract: In this paper we will try to present the stylistic values of the anthroponyms in Vasile Alecsandri‘s work . The function of the proper name is that of reference and denotation of a certain object. Proper names, by their appearance in a literary text, in comparison with names outside the domain of literary communication, had received a special status.
