Summary/Abstract: The scientific papers published in the annals of the Pedagogical Institute of Oradea (1969- 1992), stands as an eloquent proof of the manner in which Lucian Drimba framed and structured his research, in the context of his entire work, linking it to his didactic and scientific career. Its study, in the light of his integral activity, shows several perspectives and approaches which often connect and influence one another, used by the historian and literary critic. Their very existence and content, at various time intervals, leads to an overall view regarding his activity, in the context of his scientific endeavour, and it represents a proof of his vivid interest for the topics he approached, for the Transylvanian cultural phenomenon during the second half of the Nineteen Century, as well as for the field of Romanian Theatre, especially for the beginning of the theatrical activity in Oradea.
