Summary/Abstract: In this article, published in 1916, the author notes that, in terms of contact with Hungary, a distinction must be made between the old Russia before Peter the Great and the new Russia he established. At the end of his historical, political and literary overview, he concludes, "Today, Hungarians are allies of the Turks and of all those who have confronted the surging tide of Russian menace."
