Summary/Abstract: From time to time, many notable and certainly remarkable writers have contributed their piece to the Romanian literature on India and have indeed made a mark in the history, geography and science of the world of writing. The article refers to Bucura Dumbravă (1868/1926), a famous 20th century Romanian writer who considered India as a country where you will find everything from culture, language, religion, people, cooking, and also the literary public. Bucura Dumbravă has devoted himself to the study of theosophy, as evidenced by the various articles and conferences that have witnessed the newspapers of the time. She translated the book At the Feet of the Master (1924) by Krishnamurti. In addition, she created the Romanian Theosophical Lodge in Bucureşti in 1925 and helped to establish strong links between this lodge and the Indian circles. To strengthen these ties, she made one last trip to India. On her return from a theosophical congress where she actually met Krishnamurti, she fell ill on the sailing boat. The city doctor of Port Said puts her down in the hospital where she died. The notes taken during this last trip are published post mortem probably by Emanoil Bucuţa under the title "Pe drumurile Indiei. Cele din urmă pagini. Scrisori "(" On the Roads of India, The Last Pages, Letters ") in 1927.
