Summary/Abstract: An authentic creator, whose texts are born from an acute experience of a convulsive reality, Romulus Guga has all the qualities of a complex and complete creator, through the very wide range of his cultural and literary preoccupations (poetry, prose, theatre, essay, literary or plastic chronicle, etc.). The literary criticism found the proponent's inclination towards parabolic reflection or the cultivation of the major symbols of the human, the conflicts of Guga's novels being in essence dramatic confrontations of characters with their own limits or with limits imposed by an alienating historical context.
