Summary/Abstract: This study aims to define the distinctive particularities of the poetry of Miron Kiropol, having as a reference volume La marginea focului extrem published at Vinea publishing in 2018. Consecrated in the Romanian poetry of the 1960s, self-exiled in France starting with 1969 and, therefore, a forbidden author in Romania during the communism years, Miron Kiropol returns on the literary market in Romania after 1990 with a poetry which generated different and even divergent interpretations. Within this study we localize the poetry of Miron Kiropol as a descendant of "Eminescu"'s poetry, through the relation between the poems taken in an individual manner and the dimension of the assembly. Considered to have a poetic nature, Miron Kiropol depicts his poetry as a field of visionary revenge before the actual world, in which being and idea, spirit and matter, visions and biography co-exist. Poetry thus becomes an existential journal, a saga of an inner man drunk and sorrowed by the world at the same time.
