Summary/Abstract: March 23rd, 2023. The last year, a year of change and challenges, marked by the geostrategic and geopolitical situation on the eastern border of the European Union and the Alliance, has caused serious consequences in all fields, ranging from military to humanitarian, economic and political, followed by a variety of concerns which will continue to affect the countries of the international community. February 24th, 2022, represented a beginning of an extremely difficult period that has significantly influenced the development of the European and global security environment, the day Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine with global consequences unparalleled since World War II.
