Summary/Abstract: The mainstay of the paper is formed by an analysis of the impact of ICT governed programs and initiatives to curb corruption, the control of corruption through e-governance, the potential of e-governance to cut corruption and improve governance, and factors that cause corruption and the potential of e-government to mitigate corruption. In this paper I am particularly interested in exploring the potential impacts of ICT on corruption, ICT as a useful and practical policy tool for reducing corruption, the concept of public sector corruption, and TIB’s social movement against corruption.
