Summary/Abstract: This paper tries to highlight the feminine character from the literary works Cezara by Mihai Eminescu. The essay follows the initiation of the female Caesara, who become the slaves of passion, in aquatic environments, to facilitate the fulfillment of love that brings happiness or death. During the essay are analyzed the symbols and myths approached by Eminescu in the novel. The symbols described are: the island, the sea, the spring, the lake, the rock, the vegetation and the cave. The myths associated with the symbol are: the myth of paradise, the myth of erotic fulfillment and the myth of human reintegration in nature.
