Summary/Abstract: The following pages will be devoted to some scraps most of them from the Pentateuch, and one or two quite early, out of which one would not be surprised if a full-fledged jurisprudence of unjust enrichment had evolved; or to put it differently, which, if such a branch did exist in the Talmud, one would reasonably guess to have prepared the ground. Well, though the ancient potential led to no grand expansion, it may be worth presenting.
