Main consequences of global economy crisis

Summary/Abstract: The current economic crisis, which started in the real estate market in the U.S. in 2007, has proved to be one of the deepest that affected the global economy. As a result the objectivity of the process of globalization has been challenged. The global equilibrium of the world economy has been breached. This raises questions about future directions and mechanisms for its development. Hence the purpose of this article is to identify the fundamental causes and impacts of the current global economic crisis. Based on this background likely directions for the future development of the global economy are drawn.
