Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this study is to show the role played by Financial Stability Board in the prevention of financial crises in the global economy. Such a main objective requires an explanation of basic concepts associated with financial crises. Attaining these objectives influenced the selection of analytical-descriptive research methods and sources of information.
