Summary/Abstract: The Lexical Ability of Future Students. Educational linguistics is a cross-section axis that involves all scholastic disciplines and promotes and develops linguistic competences, whether in relation to different types of codes and signs or in relation to grounding linguistic skills (verbal skills). The development of elementary linguistic skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing) and of integrated linguistic skills (conversation, note- taking, reformulation) involves language management capabilities, having the ensemble of linguistic tools to our disposition, as for example the ability to formulate ideas, to communicate on a daily basis, or to communicate by adjusting to various circumstances and contexts, whether formal or informal. Therefore, the linguistic skills translate the communicative competence in “knowing how to manage the language” and they can be considered in relation to the channel (oral or written) and to the speaker (sender or receiver).
