Designation of the locally competent„Social Assistance“ Directorate when implementing protection measures in a family environment

Summary/Abstract: The article examines the issues related to determining the competent Social Assistance Directorate to implement protection measures in a family environment. The possible hypotheses were examined depending on the circumstance of whether the child lives with his parents, or is placed under guardianship or guardianship, or is placed outside the family. The legal framework allows, in such cases, measures for protection in a family environment towards the parent to be applied by the „Social Assistance“ Directorate at the parent‘s place of residence.
