Summary/Abstract: The influence of international relations after the 1815 Vienna Congress has defined the relation and equilibrium of forces in Europe; at the same time, it would cause the „oriental crisis” to become a general issue, much like the issue of the Romanian principates which started to state their legitimate claims regarding the right to social and national emancipation, all converging towards the diplomatic effort necessary for the creation of a national, independent state, in accordance with the objectives stated in the Dacian-Roman ideology.
