Summary/Abstract: David Damrosch is a well-known American literary historian, a Professor at Harvard University and an Elected Fellow of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences. He founded the Institute for World Literature in 2010 and has previously been the president of the American Comparative Literature Association. Some of his books are What is World Literature?, Comparing the Literatures, The Buried Book and Around the World in 80 books.
