Summary/Abstract: In 1934, Jean Piaget said that "only education is able to save our societies from a possible collapse, be it violent or gradual." HG Wells, a famous visionary writer, considered, along with Jules Verne, the father of science fiction literature, reformulated a few years later, in his work, "World Brain" (1938), Piaget's point of view: "Civilization is a race between education and catastrophe”. The school is the institution that educates and trains children for a long period of their lives. The school changes over time, it develops constantly, along with the development of society. Currently, schools are considered both "an educational space for personal development, knowledge transfer and preservation", and an "educational institution, a protected environment, a living space, a place of experience, a socializing authority, a tool selection board and an institution for the reproduction of the company” (Blömeke S, Herzig B, 2009, apud https://www.salvaticopiii.ro/sci-ro/files/97/97e2ec93-2e52-4536-9aaa-4ddec594008d.pdf). The class group in school has a very important function in children's development, regarding social integration. The socialization process within the group can develop the child's self-confidence, desire to collaborate, increase the level of aspiration. Isolation from the group, on the contrary, can lead to anxiety, aggressive behaviors, poor self-confidence, and negative attitudes towards school. The class group provides the child with the need for security.
