Summary/Abstract: "Public administration" and "contract", the meanings of the two terms seem distant. In my study, I will attempt to show how, over the centuries, the two terms have come closer to each other and how the relationship of subcontracting has evolved in the field of public administration. The administrative contract can be seen as one of the forms in which they are expressed. Since I cannot undertake a taxonomy in the space of a study, I will only deal with one administrative contract. Nevertheless, I will examine the process of the emergence of contracts not only in the domestic context, but also in the international field, and will present the development of French, German, Austrian and Anglo-Saxon law. Following this basic outline, I will conclude my study with the current regulation of public contracts.
