Summary/Abstract: Like other kadiluks in the system of Turkish administrative division, Novskikadiluk was located between the basic administrative units of sandjak and nahiya.It belonged to the Herzegovinian sandžak, which was founded in 1470, and the kadiluk itself was founded in 1485 and its seat was in Herceg Novi.
