Summary/Abstract: In the age of digitalization and easy access to information, the issues related to the impact of information technology on students' cognitive processes are gaining importance. This article describes a study that attempts to provide and answer to this question. It presents data on the volume of auditory memory of students with advanced digital competencies and their peers. The article also looks at the impact of information technology on memory characteristics in adolescence.
