Summary/Abstract: The subject of the considerations was to learn about a new form communication among teenagers through the use of the mobile internet application called TikTok. Particular attention was paid to the attractiveness of the platform as a place in the digital space for self-expression, as well as a way of presenting a fake image of teenagers. The case study made it possible to conduct empirical research in its natural context limited by space and time, using multiple sources. Due to the fact that the research concerns minors, the research procedure was of particular importance . The research was conducted based on the highest ethical standards. Selection of children for the research was based on their age (10-12 years). During the interviews with children, fragments of short films presented in the application were also used as a significant element of the conversation.
