Summary/Abstract: The office space is subject to a continuous process of adaptation to a changing society. Developments in information and communication systems, climate change, globalization and, more recently, the pandemic are adding unprecedented challenges to workspace design. In the age of decontextualisation, when all buildings look similar, the employer’s position and attractiveness on the market are harder to achieve and maintain than ever before. There is a trend towards the establishment of a corporate culture that counteracts uniformity and creates unique images. The present paper aims to identify the interdependent individual-corporate relationship by analyzing contemporary office interior projects and to set out some directions for the implementation of symbolic, authentic, specific spaces that satisfy the desires of the individual and help them resonate and identify with a space in accordance with the contemporary forms of working.
