Summary/Abstract: Maritime law is defined as the set of specific legal rules directly applicable to activities determined at sea1, its essential characteristics: immutability, uniformity (universality) and the customary origin of its rules qualify it as a discipline at the crossroads with other disciplines, not only Coastal Law or Port Law , addressed in the present work with the sea as the original, natural element of confluence. Starting from another element of origin, the land space in which the port activity is carried out and which naturally can only exist on a coastline, we discover another point of confluence, precisely determined, as a territorial extent at least, between the Right of the littoral and the Right seaports.
