Summary/Abstract: The present article evokes Valentin Uritescu, a great Romanian actor. Valentin Uritescu’s fate, equally devastating in his artistic brilliance as in his own suffering, remains connected to the support of his wife Valeria. Valentin Uritescu’s career is the reverence due to both God and Valeria. He worked hard for every role. No matter how small it was. He worked and committed himself without planning as he also lived his life. Valentin Uritescu used to read a lot. He read as he lived, with passion. He read aesthetics, philosophy, psychology, history, medicine, universal literature. He wanted to know himself through the cultures of others. He is also the author of some books.
