Summary/Abstract: This article is a chronicle to the volume of poems “Cuvinte care trec. Cuvinte care nu trec”, signed by Doina Alexandru. The author was an editor at Radio Free Europe. The volume consists of seven cycles, plus the epilogue, a volume in which the author seems to have come to know silence. The proof that Doina Alexandru is a true poet is, among other things, the fact that she feeds on words, that she lives on words. The proof that she is a Christian is that she tastes God the Word.
