Summary/Abstract: In this chapter we will first study the application by states of the treaties adopted for the unification of maritime law (section I). But it is also necessary to address the problems that may arise in relation to the role of certain international organizations that contributed to their creation (section 2). Finally, an exceptional place must be reserved for its application through jurisprudence, either state or arbitral, which must build the uniform interpretation of maritime law (section 3).
