Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to determine the views of teachers working in Anatolian high schools under the Ministry of National Education regarding the instructional leadership roles of the principals of the institutions they work for. The model of this research is qualitative research and phenomenology (phenomenology), one of the qualitative research designs, was used. The research data were obtained from the teachers working in schools in seven different districts on the European side of Istanbul and by using a semi-structured interview form using the criterion sampling technique and analyzed with descriptive content analysis. In the research, it has been revealed that Instructional leadership is leadership that develops itself, has academic knowledge, attaches importance to innovations in the field of education, and attaches importance to contemporary education. It has been emphasized that school principals perform their leadership roles by establishing trust among stakeholders in the school environment, establishing effective communication, creating the vision and mission of the school and keeping it up-to-date. It has been concluded that teachers expect a teaching leadership that is fair and open to communication, keeps up-todate by following the developments, is solution-oriented, and integrates the school climate with the stakeholders by supporting its stakeholders. Instructional leader school principal; Working in cooperation and peace on the climate of the school where he is assigned, increasing the motivation of the stakeholders, tending to studies that improve the school culture, creating a peaceful working environment and giving importance to academic success in cooperation, creating a positive school climate. It has been concluded that the problems stemming from the problems stemming from bureaucracy and the manager's low management skills are encountered.
