Meritocracy is etymologically a word that comes from two languages and origins. Compared to the thinkers of the period who argued that managers should be rich, talented and intelligent people, the qualities that managers should have in the modern period have undergone transformation. The concept of meritocracy appears for the first time as a concept put forward by Young. In this form of management, task Decoupling is carried out between people with superior characteristics. Individual superiority is taken as a basis. Educational institutions are institutions that convert educational inputs into outputs in the long term. For this reason, institutions need executive guidance in order to provide high morale and motivation to teachers. Creating trust and equality among employees, creating a sense of Deciency among Decients in order to create teamwork in education management and to keep this spirit alive are among the basic tasks of education managers. This situation also strengthens the employees' feelings of justice and feeds the morale-motivation in the working envelope. As the nepotistic attitudes and behaviors of education managers are Deconstructed in education management, the loyalty among employees is increasing. This makes it easier to make an objective assessment of employees and helps to establish a fair and egalitarian point of view. It is extremely important for educational administrators working in educational institutions to know the requirements of merit in order to use a more ethical framework for their official position. Considering that education managers set an example to employees with their behavior and words, it is quite necessary for them to use their leadership qualities in a positive way.
