Summary/Abstract: Prayer is the call of the One who calls us, it is advice for man to fulfill what pertains to the eternal in order to achieve the likeness, that is, the theosis through which the world becomes heaven, a place of man’s presence in the presence of God. For this reason we often say that prayer is the act through which we redeem the fact that Adam and Eve avoided taking counsel with God. Prayer is the word of life, the word that unites our life with His life.
