Summary/Abstract: As a new means of semantic expression, the shell brings with it a multidimensional discussion in terms of symbol, value, language and discourse. Context understanding in different fields such as architecture, communication, psychology, sociology, philosophy, mythology and literature… changes the semantic and descriptive expression of the shell and offers new approaches to it. The tale, which is a transitional literary genre, carries oral culture and a socio-cultural act to the present. The implicit meaning of the fairy tale, which includes its heroes with extraordinary abilities, the use of beginning, ending and intermediate formals, and a fine folk logic in indefinite time and space, gives the reader the opportunity to express himself in a cross-sectional time like a painter with a brush in his hand. The use of symbolic language in fairy tales turns into a universe in which the reader designs her own metaphor. The enchanted structure of the tales reveals their archetypal culture codes through symbols and symbols. In the study, the "shell" metaphor taken from the world of concrete meanings is used to determine the abstract meaning world in tales. The plane of symbols and values that overlap with the concept of "shell" in fairy tales makes the essence behind the representative world visible. How the material in the fairy tales is chosen as a tool that establishes the structure of the text, what ideologies lie behind the images in the construction of the subject, will become visible through the tales of Little Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Snow White. Thus, revealing how the elements that make up the shell in tales are read conceptually, determining the new meaning, definition and scope of the shell in these tales, and its place in current discourses constitute the focus of the study.
