Summary/Abstract: This thesis is about certain grammatical structures with the meaning of purpose in the Bosnian language. They are specific according to the possibility of carrying double forms – the genitive and accusative cases. The thesis is about meaning clusters which refer to certain institutions (for example Ministarstvo za obrazovanje). It’s also about similar forms in meaning with the semantic characteristic of ‘being alive’. Their lexemes have the meaning of certain qualified and professional involvement (for example prodekan za nastavu). It also talks about grammatical groups which have the lexemes referring to a medicine or any other chemical agent in the position of an administrative unit (for example pilule za spavanje, lijek protiv zubobolje, mast od opekotina). They are specific because their meaning can be expressed with the accusative case with the preposition za and also with the genitive case with the prepositions od and protiv and in certain cases with the genitive case without any preposition which adopts an explicative meaning in a certain context. One should pay special attention to the meaning characteristics of the above mentioned noun phrases in certain contexts; therefore they should be used according to their meanings of the nucleus.
