Summary/Abstract: Motivation to work is an essential element that entrepreneurs want to influence. The top level contributes to a higher efficiency of the company and to the creation of a competitive advantage in the market. Looking at younger and younger groups of workers, it can be seen that their demands on employers in terms of job motivation principles and tools are changing. This article refers to generation Z, i. e. persons born after 1995 and entering the labour market. The cognitive aim of this article is to understand the prerequisites for the work motivation of the representatives of Generation Z. Its utilitarian aim is to answer the question of how many representatives of the generation are candidates for the precarious and accept this way of life and work.
