Summary/Abstract: Philosophy is an inquiry and way of life. Is it possible to apply this formula to aes-thetics? There is no doubt that aesthetics is always an investigation, a questioning. However, is it possible to speak about aesthetics as a way of life, too? To answer this question, it is necessary to understand what happens in aesthetic theory today, or rather, what is contemporary aesthetics of today.
