Summary/Abstract: At the beginning of 19th century within national revival movements in Slavic countries an important role in spreading new ideas was assigned to women. Considering Ján Kollár's idea of ”Slavic interdependency“ and its reception in Croatia, this presentation deals with articles on women's national revival engagement in other Slavic nations published in Croatian periodicals in order to induce the same women’s response in Croatia.
