Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses the approach to the “Bosnian-Herzegovinian literary topics” offered in the literary-critical work of Midhat Begić, an author who, in many ways, can be considered one of the founders of modern Bosnian-Herzegovinian and Bosniak literary studies, as well as contemporary Bosnian-Herzegovinian literary comparatistics. In doing so, the paper pays special attention to the way in which Begić defines BosnianHerzegovinian literary practice and its status in both integral-supranational and particular-national sense, as well as to the relation of this to currently influential ideas of intercultural literary history and theory of interliterary process.
